Mirago is a European provider of results for Internet Search Engines. It has developed its own high performance indexing technology which produces deep, organic web indexes, merged with highly relevant listings from Mirago's Advertisers.
Mirago renders more than 500 million pages of search results per month to end users via a growing network of Search Partners. As a result, advertisers receive traffic from users who are specifically searching for products or services identified in their selected keywords or site content.
Mirago's partners range from specialist European search sites to global sites that have elements of European traffic which can be geo-targeted.
Partner sites are offered a combination of an enhanced revenue stream and a geographically relevant search experience for all their users' searches.
Advertising
Mirago integrate 'paid for' results into the index via tailored Featured Site, Trusted Feed and Paid Inclusion Programs.
The beauty of the Mirago Advertising Model is that the requirements of the Advertisers match the requirements of the Users. Relevant search results generate targeted sales leads.
If someone is searching for a term such as 'car insurance', Mirago will integrate within the organic results in a demarcated section, advertisers who are particularly interested in that phrase. By definition, if their business is 'car insurance' they are highly likely to fulfill the requirements of the user.
Featured Site Advertisers are displayed in an order determined by a bidding mechanism. Within their online Account area, they have a variety of autobid, reporting and notification tools, which allows them to manage their campaigns effectively.
Advertisers using both the Featured Sites and Trusted Feed Programs, are charged on a Cost per Click (CPC) basis. This means that they are only charged when Mirago delivers traffic which matches their chosen keywords or phrases.
Partners
Mirago renders search results via xml feeds to partners across a diverse cross-section of search sites. The organic results from the Web indexes are topped, where applicable, with revenue earning search results and partnership deals are done on a straight revenue share basis.
Strong emphasis is placed on the quality of traffic from partners and Mirago rigorously monitors each partner's traffic quality and origin of click throughs on a continuous basis.
To provide even further quality control, advertisers can remove specific traffic from sources which are providing less effective ROI, via a feature known as source exclusion.
